Tender Crimson Stones in Code Vein 2 are the red, magnetically charged upgrade material that pushes weapons to higher power tiers — catalysing the bond between Revenant blood and physical matter with every enhancement.

With 8 stone tiers and 150+ confirmed world locations across every map, this is the backbone of MapMaster's upgrade material coverage.

Every stone is tracked at its exact position on the Code Vein 2 interactive maps.

Tender Crimson Stone Tiers 1–8: How Weapon Upgrades Scale

Tender Crimson Stones run from Tier 1 through Tier 8, with each tier unlocking as your weapon's enhancement level increases toward the level 20 ceiling.

Tier 1 stones appear on MagMell Island and in its early dungeons.
Tiers 2–3 cluster in the Sunken City region and the Sunken Pylon.
Tiers 4–5 become standard across Pioneer Castle and the broader Continent.
Tiers 6–8 appear exclusively in the late-game dungeon network — Gorge Cave, Plagued Village Underground Facility, Ruined Town, and the Frontier Observation Post.

Beyond the Tender series, the final round of weapon enhancements requires Grand Crimson Stones — a post-Tender material that appears in the late game and isn't available through the same shop token path as the Tender variants.

Plan for both when approaching the level 20 ceiling.

How to Get Tender Crimson Stones: Three Sources

World floor pickups — the primary and most abundant source. Tender Crimson Stones appear as purple glowing loot scattered across roads, buildings, container yards, and dungeon corridors throughout every map.

They're among the more plentiful upgrade materials in the game. Two Tier 4–5 pickups on the Corroded Scar region of the Continent sit in acid rivers — both are flagged in the guide with a specific warning to grab them fast before the acid deals damage.

Jadwiga's General Store — once you purchase a General Customer Token from any Jadwiga's Minion, Tender Crimson Stones become available for ongoing Haze purchase at Jadwiga's shop in the MagMell Hub.

Without the Token, the store doesn't stock them. Minions scattered across the Continent and dungeons can also perform upgrades directly if you don't want to return to MagMell between eras.

Enemy drops — Crimson Stones drop randomly from certain enemy types in their respective regions. Not the most efficient farming route, but a useful supplement during normal exploration.

All Tender Crimson Stone Locations by Tier and Map

Tier 1–2 stones concentrate on MagMell Island, the Ruins, Clifftop Cavern, Water Treatment Plant, and Seized Substation.
Tiers 2–4 spread across the Continent's Sunken City, Cliffside Ruins, Abandoned Land, and Crystal Grotto.
Tiers 3–5 fill Pioneer Castle — the densest single-dungeon concentration with over 20 pickups across its multilevel layout.
Tiers 5–7 continue through Plagued Village, Arcade Ruins, and the Sanatorium Baths area.
Tiers 7–8 close out the progression in Ruined Town, Riverport Watch Fort, Frontier Observation Post, Plagued Village Underground Facility, and Sanatorium 2277 - The Present.
